Important: Roku is the most restrictive of the popular streaming platforms. You can only install apps ("channels") from Roku's own Channel Store, and Roku stopped supporting non-certified "private" channels added with a code. Any guide that tells you to enter a channel code is out of date. Mainstream IPTV players such as TiviMate (a third-party Android app by Armobsoft FZE, not our product) and IPTV Smarters aren't available for Roku. That said, you can still watch IPTV on a Roku TV or Roku player. It works by sending the picture from another device: an Android phone, a Windows PC or, on supported models, an iPhone. The phone or PC does the IPTV playback and the Roku displays it.
What You Need Before You Start
- ✓A Roku player or Roku TV on current software (Settings → System → System update).
- ✓A source device: an Android phone or tablet that supports screen casting (Miracast — not every Android phone does), a Windows 10/11 PC, or an iPhone/iPad if your Roku model supports AirPlay.

Method 1: Screen Mirror from Android
- 1On your Roku, go to Settings → System → Screen mirroring and set the mode to Prompt or Always allow.
- 2On your Android phone, install an IPTV player such as IPTV Smarters Pro and log in with the Xtream Codes details from your welcome message.
- 3Make sure the phone and the Roku are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- 4Open the phone's quick settings and tap its cast or mirroring option — Smart View on Samsung phones, or Cast / Screen cast on other brands.
- 5Select your Roku from the list and accept the prompt on the TV if one appears.
- 6Start a channel in the IPTV player. Turn the phone sideways for a full-screen picture.
💡 Some Android phones, including Google Pixel models, don't support Miracast mirroring to Roku. If your Roku doesn't appear, use the Windows or AirPlay method instead.
Method 2: Mirror from a Windows PC
- 1Set up an IPTV player on the PC, following the Windows guide.
- 2Enable screen mirroring on the Roku as in step 1 above.
- 3On the PC, press Windows key + K to open the Cast panel.
- 4Select your Roku and accept the prompt on the TV.
- 5Play a channel full-screen on the PC.
Method 3: AirPlay from iPhone or iPad (Supported Models)
Many current Roku 4K players and Roku TVs support Apple AirPlay. Check under Settings → Apple AirPlay and HomeKit — if that menu exists, your model supports it.

- 2Set up an IPTV player on your iPhone or iPad.

Troubleshooting IPTV on Roku

Check that both devices are on the same network (not a guest network), that screen mirroring is allowed on the Roku, and that your phone supports Miracast. Restart both devices and try again.
❓ The player won't log in on my phone
