Televizo IPTV Player: Setup Guide for Firestick & Android TV

Televizo is an IPTV player for Android phones, tablets and televisions. It is published on Google Play as “Televizo - IPTV player” by Andrey Menscikov, and its website is televizo.net. Like every player, it only plays what you give it. In the developer’s words it “does not provide any content”, so you add a playlist from your own IPTV provider. Televizo is a third-party app and is not made by us.

Which Devices Can Run Televizo?

Televizo runs on Android devices: phones, tablets, Android TV and Google TV from Google Play, and Amazon Fire TV through the developer’s own installer. The developer describes it as an IPTV app for Android phone, tablet or TV. Its site offers no iPhone, Samsung or LG version, so owners of those devices need a different player. On a phone or tablet, Chromecast support lets you cast a channel to the television.

How to Install Televizo on a Firestick

Use the Downloader app with the code the developer publishes, 474318. The developer’s site says to use Downloader from the Google Play Store or the Amazon Appstore to install its APK on a television, and it prints that code beside its APK download link.

1. On the Fire TV home screen, open Find, search for Downloader and install the app by AFTVnews.
2. Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options and turn on Apps from Unknown Sources. If you see a list of apps instead of one switch, turn it on for Downloader. If Developer Options is missing, open Settings → My Fire TV → About and press select on the device name 7 times.
3. Open Downloader, select the address box and type 474318, then Go.
4. When the file has downloaded, choose Install, then delete the installer file to free space.
5. Open Televizo from your list of apps.

How to Install Televizo on Android TV and Google TV

On a certified Android TV or Google TV device, install Televizo straight from Google Play.

1. Open the Google Play Store, or the Apps tab on Google TV.
2. Search for Televizo and open Televizo - IPTV player. Check that the developer is Andrey Menscikov.
3. Select Install, then Open.

A store app updates itself with your other apps. A copy installed from the APK does not, so reinstall from the developer’s link when a new version comes out. How to Add Your IPTV Playlist to Televizo

On first launch Televizo shows “Playlist not found” with a Create playlist button. Choose it and add the M3U link from your provider.

1. Select Create playlist.
2. Paste or type the full M3U link exactly as your provider sent it. A long link is easier to type on a phone and send to the television.
3. Give the playlist a name you will recognise and save it.
4. Wait while the channel list and guide load, then open All channels.

The official materials describe playlists and do not confirm an Xtream Codes login. If your provider sent only a server address, username and password, ask them for the matching M3U link. If you have no provider yet, you will need an IPTV plan before anything plays.

Getting the TV Guide to Show

Televizo supports an electronic programme guide, but the guide data comes from your provider, not from the app. A channel that reads “EPG not available” has no matching guide entry.

Many M3U links already point to the provider’s guide. If yours does not, ask the provider for its XMLTV link and look for a guide source field in the playlist’s options. Televizo Settings Worth Changing

The settings that change playback most are on the Additional settingsscreen, as shown in the developer’s own screenshots:

• Network buffer size. The app’s own note says it may help if the internet connection is slow. Raise it a step at a time if channels pause.
• Restart video stream. Restarts the stream when you enter or leave full screen. The app warns it may not work on some devices, so turn it off if switching freezes the picture.
• Smooth transition between live and archive. Works only on channels that support archive (catch-up).
• Background playback and Sleep timer. The first keeps sound playing when the app is minimised; the second turns video off after a period without activity.
• Parental control. Also works as a playlist editor for hiding channels and groups you never watch. The developer lists it as a Premium feature.
• Software decoding. A recent update added an “Only software” mode for audio and video processing. Try it if a channel has sound but no picture.

Televizo Free vs Premium

The free version plays your playlists with ads. Premium is a one-time purchase that removes ads and unlocks features the developer marks as blocked.

To buy Premium, first create a Televizo account in the app’s settings; Premium then works on any 5 devices signed in to that account. The developer says you can activate Premium free for 1 hour to try it first. The purchase is made through the separate Televizo Companion app on Google Play, which also lets you rename or remove devices. The developer lists Huawei AppGallery and email as fallbacks if a Play payment fails. The price is shown at checkout, so check it there.

Fixing Common Televizo Problems

Most Televizo problems are a wrong playlist link, a slow connection or a decoding mismatch. Match the symptom:

• “Playlist not found”. No playlist has loaded. Re-enter the M3U link character by character and check that the subscription is active.
• Sound but a black picture. Switch to the “Only software” processing mode, or try the channel on another device to rule out the stream.
• Buffering. Raise the network buffer size and use a wired connection if you can. Our IPTV buffering checklist goes through the rest.
• Database connection error when activating Premium. The developer advises installing the latest version and restarting the device. If it continues, something on the network, such as the internet provider or router, may be blocking the connection, and a VPN can help.
• Downloader will not install the file. Unknown sources is still off for Downloader. Turn it on as described above.
