TiviMate Channel List: Why the App Has None

TiviMate ships with no channels. See where your TiviMate channel list comes from, why Premium adds none, and where to organise the list you load.

There is no TiviMate channel list built into the app. The developer's Google Play listing says TiviMate "is a media player only and does not provide any content", so every channel you see comes from a playlist you add, in one of the formats the listing names: M3U, Xtream Codes or Stalker Portal. Your provider decides what is on that list; TiviMate shows it with a TV guide, favorites and search. TiviMate Premium unlocks app features, not channels. To change the list, change or update the playlist.

Search for a TiviMate channel list and you find PDFs, forum threads and pages that present the app as a source of free channels. None of them shows the app's own list, because the app does not have one. This page explains where the list on your screen really comes from, using the developer's own words rather than guesses. TiviMate is a third-party player published by Armobsoft FZE.

Does TiviMate come with any channels?

No. TiviMate contains no channels, and until you add a playlist there is nothing in it to watch. The app's Google Play listing, published by Armobsoft FZE, puts it plainly: "TiviMate is a media player only and does not provide any content." The same paragraph adds: "To watch anything, you must add your own playlists." The developer's website opens with the same message: "TiviMate is a media player."

That is why this page does not list channels, channel counts or network names. Any such list is one provider's lineup presented as if it belonged to the app.

Where does your TiviMate channel list come from?

It comes from the playlist your IPTV provider gives you. According to the Play listing, TiviMate supports three common playlist formats: M3U, Xtream Codes and Stalker Portal. Whichever one you use, the playlist carries the channels, their names and the groups they sit in; TiviMate reads it and lays it out on screen.

What you see in TiviMateWhere it comes from
The channels and their groupsYour provider's playlist
The programme data in the TV guideThe guide source that goes with your playlist
The guide grid, favorites, search and parental controlsThe TiviMate app
Extra app features from PremiumThe TiviMate app; no channels are included

The fields each format asks for are covered in the guide to loading a playlist into TiviMate, and the comparison of the two main playlist formats shows what each one carries. Because the guide data is a separate source, channels can play while the grid stays blank; fixing a TiviMate guide that will not update covers that case.

Does TiviMate Premium add channels?

No. Premium is a paid upgrade to the app, and the developer's listing is explicit: "Any paid subscription or premium upgrade unlocks application features only; it does not include, or provide access to, any channels, streams, or media content." There is no separate Premium channel list to unlock. The features Premium does add, and how it is bought, are covered in the TiviMate Premium guide.

Why does my channel list differ from someone else's?

Because two people running TiviMate are almost always loading different playlists. The app is the same on both screens; what fills it is not. Providers carry different lineups, and a provider can change its own lineup over time, so a list shared online says nothing about what your playlist holds. How each person has arranged the list also changes what they see first: favorites, search and the other ways the app lets you organise channels. If your list looks out of date, refresh the playlist from TiviMate's playlist settings; the exact option may differ by app version, so check in your app.

How do you sort and trim the list inside TiviMate?

You use the app's own tools; you cannot add channels from inside the app. The Play listing names several that apply directly to the channel list: favorite channels to bookmark the ones you watch most, search to find channels and shows, parental controls to manage access, and multiple playlists to switch between sources. Beyond those, TiviMate's settings let you organise the list further; the exact options may differ by app version, so check in your app. The walkthrough of TiviMate settings worth changing goes through the menus.

Whether a given option needs Premium is shown in the app itself; this page does not label options as free or paid. If the list needs more than tidying, for example channels missing or not loading, the fix sits with the playlist and the provider, not the app. More app guides are collected in the TiviMate guides hub.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does TiviMate ask for a playlist?

Because it has nothing to show without one. The developer's Google Play listing says: "To watch anything, you must add your own playlists."

Why is my TiviMate channel list empty?

Usually because no playlist has loaded. Check that the playlist was added and accepted, then refresh it. If it still loads nothing, ask your provider whether the account is active.

Where do I get a channel list for TiviMate?

From an IPTV provider. The channel list arrives with the playlist that comes with a subscription. Tivimate IPTV sells one such subscription for the USA and Canada.
