TiviMate Companion is a separate app from the TiviMate player. Its only jobs, according to the developer, are unlocking TiviMate Premium and its paid features on devices that cannot pay through Google Play, and managing the devices your Premium is activated on. What Does TiviMate Companion Do?

It does two things: it unlocks TiviMate Premium on devices without Google Play, and it lets you manage your activated devices.
