Which of the TiviMate alternatives to use depends on why you are leaving it. Why Look for a TiviMate Alternative?
People switch for one of three reasons: their device cannot run TiviMate, they do not want to pay for TiviMate Premium, or they prefer a different layout.
- Your device is not supported. TiviMate is Android-only. There is no version for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Windows, Mac, Samsung or LG TVs, or Roku.
- You do not want Premium. Several TiviMate features, recording among them, need the paid Premium upgrade sold by its developer. Check the current terms on its Google Play listing.
- You prefer another interface. TiviMate is built around a TV-style channel grid. Some people want a simpler list, or one player for TV, phone and computer.

IPTV Smarters Pro: If You Watch on Several Kinds of Device
IPTV Smarters Pro is the alternative to choose when you want the same player on a phone, a TV stick and a computer, which TiviMate cannot offer. Its developer publishes versions for several platforms; App Store listings vary by country. It has a TV guide, live TV and on-demand sections, though its guide is less TV-like than TiviMate's grid. What You Give Up When You Leave TiviMate
Mostly the channel grid and your saved setup. Your playlist moves with you, because it belongs to your provider, not to the app.
- Favourites and settings. TiviMate's backup file is made for TiviMate, so expect to set favourites, groups and guide options up again in the new player.
- The TV-style guide. Most alternatives have a guide, but layouts differ, and VLC has none.
- Premium features. If you bought TiviMate Premium, it stays with your TiviMate account and does not carry over to another app.

Is there a TiviMate for iPhone or Windows?
No. TiviMate is Android-only. On iPhone use an App Store player such as GSE Smart IPTV; on Windows use a desktop player, or run TiviMate in an Android emulator as described in using TiviMate on a Windows PC.
Will my favourites move to the new player?
Not automatically. Add your playlist to the new player, then rebuild favourites and groups there. Your channels and guide come from the playlist, so those load as before.
Can I use Tivimate IPTV with IPTV Smarters Pro?
Yes. In IPTV Smarters Pro choose the login that asks for a server URL, username and password, and enter the same details you use in TiviMate.
